Fred C. Trump III, author of All in the Family, is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities and the grandson of Fred Trump, patriarch of the Trump family real estate empire. After years of keeping his family out of the media spotlight, a personal struggle for his son's health and safety prompted him to step into the public eye as an advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In his memoir All in the Family, Fred shares his journey to becoming a "different kind of Trump" and seeks to inspire others by highlighting the importance of disability rights as civil rights. After graduating from Lehigh University, Fred spent the majority of his professional career in commercial real estate. Today, Fred has appeared on prominent platforms such as Good Morning America, The View, BBC, CNN, The New York Times, MSNBC, People Magazine, and more, advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Fred has served as a consultant and fundraising leader for disability advocacy groups, including Equally Alive and Abilis.
